Technician, Materials Testing| EAG Laboratories

Our Sunnyvale laboratory has an opportunity for a Lab Technician (Physical Testing) responsible for sample handling and preparation, analyses, problem solving, and customer service. The work consists of physical and mechanical testing - scratch, abrasion, durability and drop testing, as well as other methods to damage and degrade physical parts. Results are documented via photography, video and spectroscopy techniques. There may also be lab work involving chemicals and chemical testing.The job will include working in a team and collaborating with other EAG groups in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara. It will involve very close cooperation with customers and excellent attention to detail is required. Good record keeping and the ability to follow work instructions will be essential.
